I am Jesse! 

A certified Personal Trainer, with 5+ years of experience, qualified in strength & conditioning; functional training

​Over the last years, I have helped all kinds of in-person and online clients to get stronger and feel more confident in their bodies. Ranging from busy professionals and stay at home mums to hobby athletes. The system I have created allows me to specifically tailor a bulletproof and easy to follow program for every person, to help them reach their full potential.

I founded Perfomost not only to help but also to create a community of like-minded people. So you do not only have your trainer to count on but also other people who are or have been in your position, to help you out of a slump, share new meal ideas or share your achievement.

Well, there definitely is! You can build new habits from already existing ones. This way, it doesn't seem like something that requires motivation - after all, everyone has daily habits.

The best part is that by making these habits for yourself before working towards your goals, you'll be able to do so much more with less effort and stress. By setting yourself up for success and making sure things are as easy as possible for yourself, your chances of getting a head start will go up exponentially.

And that was how Helen, a client of mine, successfully achieved her goals! 

Helen contacted me simply because she wanted to shed some pounds and be more confident with her body. 

Her initial goal was to lose weight, and look more toned, so she can feel better about herself. A perfectly fine goal, however, she was 154cm and weighed 45kg! She didn't have any weight to lose. 

So we dug deeper and discovered that she has been told over and over again that she was chubby and should be skinner to fit in a specific body standard. This was more than just going to the gym and lifting some weights, it was about helping her to change her mindset and truly understand the importance of building a healthy and balanced lifestyle. 

Unfortunately, I hear about this issue way too often from not only female, but also male clients

We started to map out a plan together. This included working out at the gym, being more active throughout her day, being mindful of consuming the right food and especially working on building a positive mindset. 

We often had a quick chat after our session or she could contact me via text for any questions she might have had. 

At first, Helen was slightly hesitant, but I told her to trust the process, believed in herself and she did. 

After 3 months of committing to the plan, she's now eating more than she was before and feeling leaner and stronger then ever. In fact, we're now on the next mission to conquer a 1,5 x bodyweight deadlift. She also has newfound confidence and is happy with how she looks.

When I first met Jesse I was recovering from a knee injury. Jesse started me off with strength training and focused on building up my core strength. After regular weight training I have even started running again over the last few months or so. Initially, I was running for 10 or 20-minute intervals with frequent rest times. Until more recently where I have now increased my total distance up to 5 kms. This is definitely something I wouldn’t have been able to achieve alone. 

Jesse also provides online training sessions, which have been most useful during periods of gym closure and lockdowns.

At The End of The Day, Working Out Does Not Have To Feel Like A Chore

Working out and making healthy lifestyle changes are not necessarily something that many people enjoy, but there are ways to make it more enjoyable.

 

Working out does not have to be something that happens only because someone has forced you into it.

​

When you set out to do something big and new, your body and mind need time to adjust.

 

It takes weeks, months, or even years of repetition before your body can feel comfortable with the unfamiliar.

When you're in the midst of a fast-paced workday and you're having trouble getting through the day, it's easy to lose sight of the fact that exercise can be a real stress reliever.

​

But when you take the time to plan your workouts, meals, etc. ... you can make them as non-stressful as possible. For example, if you've taken the time to identify your goals, it becomes easier to eliminate any extra stressor that would be counterproductive to reaching those goals.

 

And by setting aside time just for your workout, you can ensure that you won't have any other distractions or interruptions.

​

So, if you're asking yourself this question: "What should I do first?"  

​

I believe the answer is quite simple. It is getting STARTED.

​

Don't wait until Monday or next week or next month, START NOW.
